Your commitment
You will not be asked to pay anything up front, or to buy anything or make any commitment to purchase anything. You will have to cover your own cost in attending the meeting to discuss this and negotiate the agreement, and usually attend a meeting at the mentors office about once a month. At some point you will be asked to join both Business Club International and ABAN, the business angel network with gold personal plus, or gold personal plus consultant status, but you can put this off until you have made more than the costs involved, as ordinary and gold membership of ABAN is free you will probably do this after the first meeting with your mentor, as it gives you access to a lot of information. The business that you build will be yours, both when being built by you and at the end of the agreement. The MD of H3 Mentoring is not involved in this because he does not have anything else to do, he has over 25 companies to run and other people and organisations to help, so as you may guess there has to be some benefit to him in helping you. This can vary from a percentage of your time, a percentage of the wealth you create, some other agreed benefit or a combination of these. Beyond any exclusions that have been included you will be expected to discuss, plan and carry out assignments or projects, most of which you will be fully involved in developing. As this is a project about empowering you to make a success, you are going to make the achievements, no one is going to do it for you. You should however realise that this is not something that you fit around a social programme when time permits, but a lifestyle choice, you are going to put everything into for a year or two. next how it works - click here |
