Is it right for you
Most people want to be successful, want a nice home, to be financially secure, but lets face it only if its given to them or they win it on the lottery. Even many of the people who choose to go into business do so because they want to work for themselves and mistakenly believe they will have more time off, or to do a job that they enjoy more. Ultimately the decision to become a wealth creator is a lifestyle choice, its the challenge, and chance to mix with others with the same drives, not the money alone, as most of the worlds major wealth creators could never spend the fortunes they have already amassed. There are going to be problems, you may become left out of your current social group, they will party while you work. Later some of them will fall out with you as they will think you should share your acquired wealth with them. After all you could afford to lend them the money to buy another car, or to invest cash into a business that you can see is being set up to provide them with a lifestyle, with no real chance of success. If you are not already married you are likely to marry someone else who is highly successful, and to mix more and more with a restricted group of people who can make things happen, you will live well, have holidays that many, are considered extravagant and see a different view of life. For example the holidays that others see as extravagant provide employment for many, and between you, you keep some countries economies afloat. Over time you will have very little in common with your current friends, and may even find it difficult to keep your mind from wandering off while they prattle on about TV soaps, sports teams, or local rumours. You naturally travel more, become more a citizen of the world. Other drives will then get hold of some of you, to do things that will improve others lives or to effect the future in some way. You will make mistakes, bail out people, believing you are helping them only to find that they become annoyed with you when you fail to give them more and more. You will lend money to people, who know that you have enough and they don't actually need to ever pay it back. You will find some people only come near you when they want something, while others may avoid you so that you don't think they are one of these people. Any mistakes that you make in your private life or difficulties you encounter in relationships is likely to be more public. To the media your success is a story, but any negative story is likely to be a larger one, even if untrue. What is socially acceptable and attitudes change as well. The life of the independent wealth creator is completely different to the person on the housing estate in many ways. What may be looked down on for many is now accepted as normal behaviour for the better off, particularly where relationships are involved. Some however may find it difficult to adjust to this. We are not saying you should feel sorry for the successful person living in the large house, with several smart cars, and a super life style, just that there are down sides to this as well. This does come as a surprise to some people, and often people like lottery winners are far from happy, as they move to this lifestyle but without the similar people to form a new group of friends. This is of course not as great a problem now as it was years ago, now many more people make a fortune through being a wealth creator, being lucky, being an employee in the right place at the right time, or inheriting it, and therefore the group of new friends that you make are often others like you, who are living life to the full and enjoying every minute of it. It is also not uncommon now for the success you have to lead other you know to copy you, also become wealth creators and enjoy life alongside you. In some cases friends join the mentoring program together as well. Ultimately if this is right for you it is something that you will need to think carefully about, no one except you can make this lifestyle choice for you. |
